About CIDeR

CIDeR is a manually curated database of interactions between disease-related elements such as biomolecules (proteins, metabolites etc.) and other factors (biological processes, phenotypes etc.). The aim of CIDeR is to serve as knowledge base for experimentally-oriented scientists and as resource for bioinformatics applications. The focus of our work is on metabolic diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, cardiovascular diseases, mental diseases and rare diseases. Sister databases are HSC-Explorer (http://mips.helmholtz-muenchen.de/HSC/) (Hematopoiesis) and HoPaCI (http://mips.helmholtz-muenchen.de/HoPaCI/) (host-pathogen interactions). The CIDeR dataset is available for download.
