Glutamate toxicity in DRG (dorsal root ganglion) neurons produces accumulations of p-NF-H (phosphorylated neurofilament H) and Pin1. Glutamate treatment, resulted in an approximate twofold increase in p-NF-H levels relative to untreated neurons.
